The Colony has been upgrading and renovating as well as adding new restaurants and event venues. Looks like The Colony is going to be attracting many visitors in the months to come!

On April 29th the Up, Up and Away, Festival of Flight will be taking place from 4pm - 8pm at Prestwick Stem Academy. If you are interested in the history of flight, you've got to check this festival out.
Do you like family friendly movies? The Colony offers Movies in the Park (April 29 at 8pm Storks is showing) and on May 5th Arrival is in the Drive-In at Stewart Creek Park.

Here are the top 5 things you should do before listing your home for sale.
1. Highlight any issues and/or improvements
Make a list of the problems that you may have already solved and how you solved them, like chimney fires, water damage or french drains. If you have receipts for major work done, have a copy handy. Be forthcoming and offer this information freely.
2. Google your address
Since most, if not all, clients research homes on the internet, make sure you know what they are looking at. If the tax records have the wrong information on your home such as the number of baths or bedrooms, that is easily fixed. If the image of your home on googlemaps is outdated and you have done improvements, ask your realtor to make note of that in the listing.
